Ādi Vārāhī is the primordial Vārāhī, served by Brahmā, Viṣṇu, Śiva, Indra, the Mātṛkās and the Bhairavas.
This canvas art print by Swaroop is part of the Forms of Vārāhī series.
02The dhyāna+
“I bow to the Goddess who has a boar's face, adorned with a precious crown, with coral earrings, whose chest is decorated with a necklace and who bends slightly due to the weight of her prominent breasts, wearing yellow silk garments. The Goddess holds a pestle in her right hand, and in her left hand she is holding either a plough or a skull bowl, Her body is shining like blue lily/lotus, dark-complexioned, pleasing, and benevolent. I Meditate upon her, who is of the color of deep blue, with eyes like the moon, sun, and fire, served by the likes of Brahmā, Viṣṇu, Śiva, Indra, and other deities, as well as by Mātṛkās and Bhairavas. She is adorned with a glowing crown encrusted with many jewels, and is equipped with all kinds of weapons appropriate for various tasks. May she, who holds a pestle and plow among various weapons, protect us. Indeed, her armor grants both enjoyment and liberation.”
Source: Ādi Vārāhī Sahasranāma (Uḍḍāmara Tantra) and Ādi Vārāhī Kavaca (Rudrayāmala Tantra).
